Violin Concert and Dinner with Narimichi Kawabata

The 11th Members Forum is a dinner concert featuring Narimichi Kawabata (violin) and Katsushige Sato (piano). The violin came to be a companion for life for Kawabata when he injured his eyesight as a small child. After finishing at the Toho Gakuen School of Music, he graduated with honors from the Royal Academy of Music, London. Since his 1998 debut playing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto with the Nippon Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ken'ichiro Kobayashi, Kawabata has demonstrated steady growth with remarkable CD sales and is recognized now as one of the most popular and beloved classical artists in Japan. Please join our forum on a spring evening to enjoy these classic pieces with his most beautiful strings.

• Program: Mozart: Violin Sonata K301; Bach: Partita No. 2 (Unaccompanied Chaconne); Gounod: Ave Maria; Piazzolla: Oblivion; Wacsmann: Carmen Fantasy
• Deadline: Applications and cancellations by March 10, 2010. No refunds after this date.
• Payment: Member and member's spouse: 7,500 yen each (guests at 8,500 yen each) Your registration will be completed with your payment.
