[Library] Notice of Digitized Contents Transmission Service via the National Diet Library

Copying is now available for the National Diet Library digitized material transmission service provided in the library. Please contact the library for details.

International House of Japan Members, Library Members, Program Members, Guests 
 
Materials available
The following digital collection materials are available:

Books Books acquired by the NDL up to 1968
Parts of books related to earthquakes and natural disasters (including books acquired after 1968)
Periodicals Periodicals published more than five years ago
Rare Books and Old Materials Rare books, Semi-rare books, Japanese old books up to the Edo Period and Chinese old books up to the Qing Dynasty
Doctoral Dissertations Japanese doctoral dissertations received by the NDL between FY1990 and FY2000

Utilization times
Open days (Monday to Saturday except national holidays) 9:00-18:00
* You can check when the library is open on the library calendar.
* The deadline to apply is 17:00.

How to Use
Browsing: Please speak to the library staff.
Copying: Please fill in the “National Diet Library Digitized Material Transmission Service Copy
Application Form.” All copying is done by the staff within the scope of copyright law. (You cannot print out by yourself.)

Other
The staff will log in to the terminal and the National Diet Library Digital Collection.
It is not permitted to take a picture of the screen with a camera, etc., or save the image to a USB flash memory, etc.
The copying fee per frame is 30 yen for black and white, 100 yen for color.
