Enrollment Procedure


Please read our bylaws and privacy policy prior to applying for membership.

Individual members

1. Application

Please submit your application either way of the following.

Please download, fill in and send the signed form by email to member(at)i-house.or.jp (please replace (at) with @) or post.

2. Recommendations

The application should have recommendations from two current House Members. Please ask those two members to submit their recommendation statements either way of the following.



Please ask them to send 1) their name, 2) membership No., 3) Name of candidate, and 4) their recommendation statements, to member(at)i-house.or.jp (please replace (at) with @), from their e-mail addresses registered with the I-House.

Please ask them to fill in the recommendation section of your application form or send their recommendation statements along with 1) their name, 2) membership No., and 3) Name of candidate, directly to the Membership Department on a separate sheet by post.

3. Membership Committee

Membership is subject to approval by the Membership Committee. After receiving your application form and two letters of recommendation, a Membership Committee meeting will be convened to review your application.

4. Enrollment Procedure

You will be informed of the acceptance together with billing of the initial donation and annual dues. Upon payment, your membership card shall be promptly delivered to you at your mailing address designated in the application form.
