Neutral AND useful – a look at Switzerland’s Foreign Policy

Presentation by Yves Rossier, State Secretary of Switzerland:
Switzerland often has its own way of doing things – including letting its people vote on foreign policy issues. Situated in the heart of Europe, it may be a small country by some standards, but one that often punches above its weight. It maintains permanent armed neutrality, deliberately chose to remain outside of the European Union while still closely integrating with Europe and proudly is a major host of international organizations and conferences. Come and hear about its unique foreign policy directly from the top practitioner of Swiss diplomacy.
