U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Fellow Wu Hanyen will share reflections from their fellowship in Japan, tracing encounters with woodworkers and craftspeople working to keep traditions alive across regions including Kawaguchiko, Awazu, Nara, Shimanto, and Ibaraki.
