In response to the lifting of the state of emergency and relaxation of the request by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to close public facilities including libraries, we have decided to reopen the Library from Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) from now on, we are adopting the following measures:
・Hours of operation, including the periodical section, will be Monday through Saturday, from 9 am to 6 pm.
・Please refrain from using the library if you have a fever, cough, or otherwise feel ill.
・Please avoid the close-contact with others in closed spaces (the Cs) when using the library.
・Please wear a mask and sanitize your hand at the entrance.
・In order to prevent infection, the number of seats has been reduced to prevent users from being seated close together.
・Every hour, the staff will ventilate the rooms and disinfect the reference counter, computers, tables, desks, chairs, and other furnishings.
・Library staff will wear masks.
・A clear protective screen will be installed at the counter.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we would greatly appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation.
