A morning walk would suddenly become much more exciting if you joined us on an exclusive tour! Mr. Chisao Shigemori, a House member and supervising gardener, will guide a stroll through our beloved garden for individuals staying at I-House. It will be followed by an informal talk session over breakfast.

8:30–9:30 Informal talk over breakfast at Tea Lounge “The Garden” - Fee: 1,000 yen
- Capacity: 10 people (reservations on a first-come, first-served basis)
- Language: Japanese (English translation available)
- * This event is open only to persons staying at I-House on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
- ** Please wear comfortable shoes. In the event of rain, please bring your umbrella. (In the case of stormy weather, the tour will be cancelled and the talk session will start at 8:00.)

Chisao SHIGEMORI (Gardener)
Chisao Shigemori is the supervising gardener at I-House who knows every nook and cranny of the beautiful grounds that he helps maintain in perfect condition. He has been engaged in designing Kyoto-style gardens throughout Japan and also in broadly communicating their aesthetic appeal. He is the grandson of famed gardener Mirei Shigemori.
